Encrypted Multiprotocols connections
Posted By n/a on 10/18/2001 4:02 PM This behavior is do to ADO and SQL Server interactivity - not IIS. IIS talks to SQL Server through ADO (assuming this is your mechanism) and ADO attempts to keep the connection open for pooling purposes. If you want to change this behavior then consult your connectivity documentation or see this article for a starting point: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnmdac/html/pooling2.asp
