Subject: Database Security From End Users
Message: I am not trying to dodge the issue here but the tasks you mention are technically not security related. What you are talking about is intellectual property protection and no amount of it will make your application more secure. However, if you want some direction try looking at products such as VBOX and HASP at http://www.ealaddin.com/products/default.asp?cf=tl as that will help you see what products are out there to help you protect your products from software piracy. Also, try doing a search for "intellectual property protection" and you should find a myriad of other solutions and products to help you.
