Hi - after performing updates amounting to about 4000 records, which are then replicated to a pull subscription database, the agent has gotten itself into quite a lockout. For almost 20 hours its been busy delivering these transactions and is locking out various programs from getting their info from the sub db. one of the messages has been -'Waiting for one of the backend connections'. If anyone knows how to release this sort of lock, or what may be causing it (restarting doesnt help,it just picks up again)it would be greatly appreciated. thanks,Desmond. (both dbs are on the same server)

Is back to normal again, main problem being a kind of deadlock escalation. Though solved, any further info or methods of avoiding this would be appreciated... thanks desmond
