many thanks to Chip Andrews this time i didn't ask any question . to tell more about sql ping2 . I just run sqlping2.exe .I gave start IP address and end IP address.soon after clicked the BEGIN SCAN It has given IP address of system,name,clustered,version ,tcp port. but i don't know how to use user list,password list. Using these IP address of system,name,clustered,version ,tcp port how should know the data base admin or mypassword ?plz.. tell me and also thank to tell about SQLRecon,SQL discovery tool .In our website only SQLRecon has found other is not thank to giving information. waiting for U R reply

The user list and password lists are simply text files with lists of user names and password that you'd like to attempt to use to access the SQL Server instance. The size of those files depends on how comprehensive you want the scans to be. SQLRecon will find more instances that SQLPing because it uses multiple discovery techniques -not just a UDP 1434 discovery packet like SQLPing. If you're trying to find SQL Servers - use SQLRecon. If you're trying to test a SQL Server for weak passwords - use SQLPing2 or any of the other tools (SQLbf, etc) that test for weak SQL passwords.
