What does Microsoft recommend for Domain accounts with sites having multiple SQL servers? Is it recommend that each server should have it's own Domain account or we should use a single Domain account to login and start all of SQL server and the sql services?

Microsoft, from my interpretations, has always advocated a shared account so that replication and other interactions between SQL Servers is seamless. That said, if you don't require that level of server to server integration then I would lean towards separate, low-privilege, local accounts to minimize exposure in case of compromise.
